The School board de l'Or-et-des-Bois offers you the possibility to gain your high school diploma or the necessary requisite for professional studies, college or university in one of the three adult training centre: the Centre Horizon in Val-d'Or, the Centre La Concorde in Senneterre or the Centre Le Trait-d'Union in Malartic. A personalized training with a day or evening schedule and the possibility of a self-taught training that will allows you to start your training anytime. Our centre develops partnership with community group and also offers diverse training for specific needs among them literacy education, francisation, informatics, English conversation… furthermore some class allows you to develop your personal and social habilities.

  Covering all the territory of the city of Rouyn-Noranda, except the city of Cadillac, the Rouyn-Noranda school board teaches to more than 5000 students spreaded in sixteen primary school, two high schools, the general adult training Centre and the professional training Centre.     The Centre Polymétier of the School board of Rouyn-Noranda offers professional training to everyone aged 16 and over in five great fields : Administration, Trade and Informatics, Building and Civil engineering, Electrotechnic and Beauty Care. It welcomes 600 students every year in eleven programs leading to vocational diploma or an attestation of vocational specialization (AVS). It offers professional development training to many regional business and acknowledgment of experience and skills in some programs.     The centre Élisabeth-Bruyère offers general adult training for everyone aged 16 and over in the territory of the School Board of Rouyn-Noranda. Classes can be full time, half time or distance education. The centre's mission is based on commitment. With enthusiasm, professionalism and imagination, the team offers to about 1000 student yearly training programs from literacy education to classes offering a high school diploma. Students can also register themselves to pre-requisite classes at collegial or professional training, to school-to-work and social transition programs and also to a francization program.

  The Lac-Abitibi school board covers the territory of the regional county municipality of West-Abitibi (MRC) that provide services to more than twenty localities which core and administrative centre is in La Sarre. In the middle of an agricultural territory where mines and forests plays a very important role in the regional economy, the school board count seven school institutions of primary and high school level and two adult training centre: the professional training centre of Lac-Abitibi and the general training Centre Le Retour.     On the Témiscamingue lakeside, you can admire a splendid fieldstone building builded by the Oblats Brothers between 1934 and 1939 that was dedicated to teaching agriculture. Today the Frère-Moffet Centre regroups services related to professional training, adult general training, Cégep de l'Abitibi-Témiscamingue, Université du Québec en Abitibi-Témiscamingue, training program for business, the Collectif regional en formation agricole and a linguistic centre.
